How Google IO 2023 Is Shaping The Future Of Technology

Google has also introduced a new language model called PaLM 2 that can generate text, translate languages, write different kinds of creative content, and answer your questions in an informative way. PaLM 2 is still under development, but it has the potential to revolutionize the way we interact with computers. It can understand around 100+ languages. From the Developer's perspective with this, you can help and communicate with your colleague who is in some other part of the world in their language. PaLM 2 can generate code in a variety of programming languages, including Python, JavaScript, and C++. PaLM 2 can be even used in various domains like the medical field to get the report by using just a picture. PaLM 2 can answer your questions in an informative way, even if they are open-ended, challenging, or strange.  

Another announcement Google had is the introduction of Google Bard which is a conversational AI, which is running on PaLM 2. With Bard, you can even do coding as its capable of doing programming in 20 programming languages. This can be really helpful for programmers in terms of coding. It can generate content from Bard to Docs and Emails as well. Bard will be incorporated with Bard tools to power its existing functionalities. 

So with various Bard tools, you can get suggestions about places and get captions about pictures. Literally, you can get details about various topics, find the locations in google maps and even export them to google sheets. It can even create an image from your imagination if you can just give some description of what's in your mind. These are going to solve a lot of problems for the people. Bard will be supported in multiple languages apart from English.

In Workspace also Google has made significant improvements with the help of AI. In Gmail, As mentioned above, Help me write is something that will help you to write and respond to emails of its own. In sheets now you can create a complete sheet with appropriate details by just inputting the information. In Google Slides with text-to-image models now you can even generate images for the description you have entered and even create presentations like this.

• Duet AI: This new AI-powered tool can help developers write code faster and more accurately. It can suggest lines of code, complete code as you type, and help with code reviews.
• Vertex AI: This new platform makes it easier for developers to build and deploy machine learning models. It provides a unified experience for managing data, training models, and deploying models to production.
• Cloud TPUs: These custom-designed machine-learning accelerators can train machine-learning models up to 100x faster than CPUs or GPUs.
• Cloud AI Platform Pipelines: This new service makes it easier to build and manage machine learning pipelines. It provides a unified experience for data preparation, model training, and model evaluation.
• Cloud AutoML: This suite of tools makes it easy for developers to build machine learning models without having to write any code.

Google also announced the Universal Translator at Google I/O 2023. It is a new AI-powered tool that can translate between any two languages in real-time. Even though The Universal Translator is still in development, it has the potential to revolutionize the way we communicate with each other. The Universal Translator works by using a deep learning model to translate text from one language to another. The model is trained on a massive dataset of text and code, and it is able to learn the nuances of different languages. The Universal Translator is available in a number of different forms, including a web app, a mobile app, and a hardware device. The web app is the most versatile form of the Universal Translator, and it can be used to translate text, speech, and even video.

In Google Andriod OS also they have made significant improvements and have also launched a few of its product line up like Pixel 7a and the first of its foldable phone category called Pixel Fold. They have also introduced pixel Tablets in the presentation.
