The second day of GITEX Global 2022 was as eventful as the first. The event was brimming with visitors at the Dubai World Trade Centre, where more than 5000 companies from 70+ countries attended this global tech event that spread over 26 halls and two million sq ft of exhibition space.
Royex Technologies stand Z6-E431 was busy throughout the day with visitors. They were interested in our various services and products, most notably Metaverse. Our Metaverse, MetCity, was quite a hit among the visitors.
They experienced MetCity through the Oculus VR headset and learned more about the various business opportunities available in MetCity. Visitors also learned about our other services, such as mobile apps and ecommerce development. All our visitors were given our company brochure and a gift bag.
Some other major highlights of day two of GITEX are:
His Majesty, on the second day of the GITEX Global 2022 event in Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, virtually explored Dubai's numerous attractions.
His Highness was informed on the different technologies and solutions that Microsoft and its partners had collectively created for FinTech, retail, education, cybersecurity, energy, utilities, and Smart Cities.
Sheikh Mohammed also used the HoloLens 2 headset, which was developed in collaboration with Kagool and Microsoft, to digitally tour Dubai's numerous attractions. The gadget uses cutting-edge Metaverse technology to provide a distinctive tourist experience that lets users use Microsoft AI to digitally see Dubai.
Sharjahverse, a metaverse tourism platform, has been introduced by the Emirate of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, represented by Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, and will be on display at the digital Sharjah pavilion at Gitex 2022.
With a total area of 2,590 square kilometers (1,000 square miles), Sharjahverse promotes the emirate to a wider audience, helps the local tourism industry, and allows locals to work in the metaverse at some of Sharjah's most well-known attractions. It is a photorealistic, physically correct metaverse that fosters large-scale innovation, business, and creativity while elevating the emirate as a premier travel destination.
As its metaverse for simulation may lower energy usage and boost facility optimization, Multiverse Labs will also make new chances for a changing world possible.
A digital vault called "Tejouri" was unveiled by the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Courts, allowing for the safekeeping of documents such as insurance contracts, real estate contracts, wills, and financial certifications.
All submitted files will be protected by security rules, which include various authentication methods, encrypted data, individualized biometric data, and safe-keeping ledgers created using high-level encryption.
