Apple September Event 2022 - What’s in the new iPhone 14 Series, Watch Series 8, AirPods Pro 2
Apple announced a flurry of new products today at their event. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models, the new Apple Watch 8 and two additional additions to its wearables, and the improved AirPods Pro 2 were all covered in a 90-minute presentation by Apple.
That is a lot of product news for one day, and if one thing unites all the new features, Apple desires to make its products even more essential than ever. For instance, a crash detection capability is available on the new iPhones and Apple Watches, and your iPhone will be able to send emergency messages through satellite communication.
A new chipset for the iPhones (or at least the iPhone 14 Pro models), improved cameras across the entire iPhone lineup, a temperature sensor and low-power mode for the Apple Watch, and improved audio features in the AirPods Pro 2 are just a few of the additions to the standard improvements you would expect from Apple product updates.
Additionally, Apple unveiled the Apple Watch Ultra, a brand-new smartwatch aimed at athletes, explorers, and other individuals who do their jobs and engage in recreational activities in hazardous environments. The Apple Watch Ultra has an incredible feature set, and its pricing is just as enticing (though not as high a price as had been rumored.)

iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus
Costing $799, the iPhone 14 isn't a significant upgrade from the iPhone 13 since it uses the same A15 system-on-chip previously, but Apple has switched to a 5-core GPU for faster performance than the phone from the previous year. Although the main camera is 12MP, a larger sensor has been added for better low-light images. There is a 12MP selfie camera with Dolby HDR support for the front camera. Apple iPhone 14 will go on sale on September 16.
Consider the iPhone 14 Plus an expanded version of the iPhone 14. (or a cheaper, not-as-fully-featured version of the iPhone 14 Pro Max). The only differences between it and the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 are its larger battery and a larger 6.7-inch screen. The iPhone 14 Plus is priced at $899 and will be available for sale from October 7.
iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max
The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are the Pro series phones by Apple. The Pro Max has a 6.7-inch Retina XDR display with up to 2000 nits, while the iPhone 14 Pro has a 6.1-inch screen. The brand-new A16 Bionic processor from Apple powers both devices. Both the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max include a 48MP main camera, a 12MP wide-angle lens, a telephoto lens, and an LED light for shooting.
The iPhone 14 Pro versions have cinematic movie mode and handle 4K video at 30 frames per second. Additionally, the iPhone 14 Pro has a satellite-based SOS capability that may be used in an emergency. Priced at $999 for the Apple iPhone 14 and $1,099 for the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The notch is also gone and instead comes a cutout in the shape of a pill with animations and notifications called Dynamic Island.
Watch 8, Watch SE, Ultra
Apple Watch Series 8 comes with a motion detection sensor. The most common types of automobile collisions can be detected. The low power mode on the wristwatch provides the most battery life. The Apple Watch Series 8 will come in four colors and three types of stainless steel. Now, users may utilize any Nike's face. The GPS variant of the Apple Watch Series 8 costs $399, while the GPS + Cellular model costs $499.
The following item is the Apple Watch SE. It has features like crash detection and heart rate monitoring. It is equipped with an S8 SoC. The GPS version costs $249, while the GPS + Cellular variant costs $299.
The Apple Watch Ultra is the next watch in their launch. The Apple Watch Ultra has the largest battery among the three. On a single charge, the battery life is 36 hours. Additionally, the smartwatch has a 49mm titanium frame, a dedicated action button, night mode, many lovely bands, precise GPS readings, heart rate tracking, and other features. It also includes the Oceanic+ diving app, which keeps track of dive parameters and water temperature. The cost of the Apple Watch Ultra is $799. Pre-orders are now being accepted for delivery on September 23, 2022.
The latest AirPods from Apple is called the AirPods Pro 2. The new H2 processor in the earphones of the future provides excellent sound. The addition of spatial audio elevates listening to a new level. The AirPods Pro 2 keeps its in-ear design, additional ear tip, and ANC (active noise cancellation) function. A dynamically reduced adaptive transparency mode for AirPods Pro 2 is also included. Touch controls allow users to adjust the volume. The cost of the Apple AirPods Pro 2 is $249.
